Fix Event ID 1000 Error Easily

An application may crash and receive violation error message such as Event ID 1000 error. In such a situation do the steps given below to repair your problem and make the application run properly.
  • Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Verify your Drivers
  • Scan for Driver Issues
  • Provide Correct DNS Address


Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework

An application may show this error because of problems with Microsoft .NET Framework. Reinstalling .NET Framework can fix the problem easily.
  1. Click Start, select Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs | Uninstall a Program.
  3. Select Microsoft .NET Framework and click Uninstall.
  4. Follow the wizard and restart your computer.
  5. Download Microsoft .NET Framework from here. Run the setup program to install it.
Verify your Drivers

Driver Verifier Manager is a program developed for advanced users to identify issues with the Windows Drivers. Verify your drivers to fix Event ID 1000 error as shown below:


  1. Click Start button on your Taskbar and type Verifier in the Search box.
  2. Press ENTER key.
  3. Driver Verifier Manager shall open.
  4. Select the second option Create Custom Settings (For Code Developers) and click Next.
  5. In the new page select the second option Select individual settings from a full list.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the next page mark all boxes checked except Low Resource Simulation item.
  8. Click Next.
  9. In the next page select the option Select Driver Names from a List.
  10. Wait till the driver information is loaded.
  11. In the new page a list of all installed drivers will be displayed. Check mark only Non-Microsoft drivers. See the Provider column for provider company name.
  12. Click Finish
Scan for Driver Issues

Often outdated drivers cause error 1000. Quickly fix this problem by downloading a Driver Scanner and update all your drivers. When you're done simply restart Windows.

Provide Correct DNS Address

Providing correct DNS Address can also fix Event ID errors easily. Follow these steps:

  1. Click Start | Control Panel.
  2. Type the following address and press ENTER:
  3. Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center
  4. Click your Local Area Connection link on the right side.
  5. In the new dialog click Properties button.
  6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ IPv4) and click Properties.
  7. Provide the correct DNS Server Address and then click OK | OK | Close. This will fix Event ID 1000.

Diablo 3 Error 37

Error 37 is not uncommon for Diablo 3 PC users. Unless the true cause has been found for it there is no chance to get rid of it. If you are encountering this error don’t worry as you’re not far away to learn how to fix it on your own.
  • Restore Default Graphics Settings
  • Allow Diablo 3 through Windows Firewall
  • Remove Obsolete Registry Entries
  • Disable Support for DXT Texture Format
  • Start Secondary Log-On Service with OS Startup
  • Turn Off Antivirus Program

Restore Default Graphics Settings

Set up the default graphics settings from game options. It might solve Diablo 3 error 37.

Allow Diablo 3 through Windows Firewall

Error 37 occurs if Windows Firewall is blocking it.. Assuming that you are only using Windows Firewall and no other firewall software, we have given steps to add it to the exceptional items so that your issue will resolve.


  1. Click Start, select Control Panel | System and Security.
  2. Under Windows Firewall category, click the link Allow a program through Windows Firewall.

  5. Click Browse, navigate to C:\Program Files\Diablo III directory.

  2. Select Catalyst Control Panel option.
  3. In the new dialog click Graphics Settings tab.
  4. Click 3D and then More Settings link.
  5. Deselect the checkbox namely Support DXT Texture Formats and then click Apply to save it.
Start Secondary Log-On Service with OS Startup

Apply the settings given below and start Secondary Log-On Service with the machine startup. Here’s how to do that:


  1. Click Start, type Services.msc in the Search box and press ENTER.
  2. Right click Secondary Log-On service and select Properties.
  3. In the General tab there is Startup Type drop down box. Select Automatic value and click Apply | OK.
  4. When you’re done simply close the window and restart your machine.

Turn Off Antivirus Program

Antivirus programs sometime prevent your games from running smoothly. Diablo error 37 can occur due to the same reason. Turn your antivirus off as below:

Right click its system tray icon and select Disable | Disable Until System Reboot option.
