Diablo 3 Error 3003 Resolution

The good thing is that we have come with many solutions which can help you to deal with error 3003 and get rid of it permanently. Here are these solutions:
  • Re-register Battle.net.dll File
  • Unlock Launcher File
  • Delete and Recreate Player Profile
  • Find and Remove Broken Registry Entries
  • Disable Real-Time Protection 

Reregister Battle.net.dll File

The Battle.net.dll file located under Diablo 3 installation directory can be corrupt.  Use Command Prompt, un-register this file first and then re-register it.

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs | Accessories.
  2. Right click Command Prompt, select Run as Administrator.
  3. Type the following command to un-register file entries from registry:
  4. Regsvr32 /u battle.net.dll
  5. Click OK in DLL un-register successful dialog box.
  6. Then type the following command to register the file again:
  7. Regsvr32 battle.net.dll

Unblock Launcher File

The main executable file of which desktop shortcut is created could be blocked by Data Execution Prevention. Simply unlock the file as shown in the following instructions:

  1. Click Start, right click My Computer.
  2. A new dialog shall open. Click Advanced System Settings.
  3. Click Settings under Performance.
  4. Click Data Execution Prevention tab.
  5. Select the second option Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
  6. Click Add, locate the following EXE files one by one:
  7. C:\Program Files\Diablo III\Diablo III Launcher.exe
  8. C:\Program Files\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe
  9. Click OK | OK.

Delete and Recreate Player Profile

From the main welcome screen delete and recreate the player profile. This is for the possibility that it might have gone corrupted.

Find and Remove Broken Registry Entries

Registry keys contain game settings, user data and other relevant information. If this information is up-to-date with valid information there are lesser chances of experiencing Diablo 3 Error 3003.

You’re experiencing this error may be because your registry contains broken entries, invalid information and junk data which must be cleaned. Download RegInOut Registry Cleaner. 

Disable Real-Time Protection

Real-Time Protection means the continuous protection of all files which are processed by open programs and applications. Disable the real-time protection as below:

Right click the system tray icon of your antivirus.

Select Real-Time Protection | Disable.

Diablo Error 73 - How to fix it

Offline battle.net server:
